Asian Canadian Medical Student Association (ACMSA)

The mission of the Asian Canadian Medical Student Association (ACMSA) is to address the unique health challenges of Asian communities.
The vision of ACMSA is to create a national student hub for learning, conversation, and action that improves the health of the Asian communities.
The goals of ACMSA are three-pronged. ACMSA is motivated to serve as a forum to engage student leaders and develop system-level initiatives to address the health needs of the Asian community. In addition, ACMSA provides services that help all healthcare professionals understand how to care for patients of Asian descent in a culturally sensitive manner. Lastly, ACMSA aims to build a venue for all pre-medical students, medical students, and health professionals to meet, exchange experiences, and develop personal and professional connections through leadership and service.
The direction of ACMSA is towards advocacy, education, and mentorship.
