Advocates for Islam (AFI)

The principal goal of Advocates for Islam (AFI) is to further the understanding of Islam in the light of the Qur'an and the example of the Prophet Muhammad. AFI meetings usually take place once a month at the Centre for International Experience (33 St. George Street, University of Toronto). The format is a short talk followed by an informal discussion where both the discussion and the presentation are to be guided by collaborative participation. These meetings are free of charge and open to men and women, young and old, Muslims and non-Muslims. The subjects that are primarily dealt with are those fundamental to Islam and justified belief (i.e. knowledge).
