Aerospace Team

The University of Toronto Aerospace Team (UTAT) is an interdisciplinary research and design group at the University of Toronto composed of undergraduate and graduate students with a passion for aerospace engineering and educational outreach. Our projects range from intelligent quadrotors, to unmanned aerial vehicles, to suborbital rockets, and to small satellites. We engage the local, regional, national, and - ever increasingly - international community to promote aerospace and the University of Toronto. UTAT has won more than 35 awards in the past five years alone, including recognition from NASA, the UN, six annual domestic and international competitions, U of T, Ryerson University, and elsewhere.

UTAT is divided into six divisions to cover these projects:

- Aerial Robotics Division (quadcopters)
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (quadplanes + fixed-wing drones) Division
- Rocketry Division (sounding rockets)
- Space Systems Division (satellites)
- Outreach Division
- Aerospace Policy Division
