International Students Association (iNSA)

The mission of iNSA is to build an inclusive and open community for students coming to University of Toronto from different national and cultural backgrounds. Although the name of this organization may seem to suggest exclusivity for international students alone, our aim is to take a different approach to the meaning behind the word “international,” thereby keeping our organization open not only to current international students but also to previous international students, to students who consider themselves “international,” to students with an interest in international experience, and to students who would just like to make lasting connections. In order to facilitate the integration between students, new and old, from one country, from another, iNSA plans to organize informative and enjoyable social events such as meet and greets, theme nights, quiz nights, etc. Eventually, we hope to hold more goal-oriented, professional networking events to help students with global visions get a step closer to their goals.
Our vision is founded upon these four words: openness, diversity, integration, and novelty. With these four words in mind, iNSA will provide students, overwhelmed by U of T’s otherwise daunting dimensions, with a community.
