How to Post to Ulife

Posting Opportunities

Any University of Toronto staff or faculty member, or student leader with a valid UTORid can post an opportunity to Ulife. Simply login with your UTORid and Password (in the login box on the left hand side of the page) and select "Post an Opportunity" from the Opportunities menu at the top of the page.

Fill in the required information, click submit and your opportunity will appear on Ulife.

What is an opportunity?

An opportunity, broadly speaking, is any way for students to engage in the life of the University beyond the classroom and take advantage of its resources. We encourage you to post:

  • Committee openings
  • Calls for volunteers
  • Election notices (call for nominations)
  • Awards for undergraduates and graduate students
  • Research opportunities
  • International/study abroad programs
  • Auditions
  • Try-outs for athletic teams
  • Mentoring programs
  • Community service projects

Unlike an event, an opportunity offers a sustained level of involvement, commitment or recognition to students and is usually not limited to a few hours.

Posting Events

The events listed on Ulife are drawn from the central University events calendar. This is a similar but separately managed service which also works by UTORid authentication. Request posting privileges at www.events.utoronto.ca.

Disclaimers

Of course we have disclaimers! The University makes every attempt to ensure the accuracy of the posted information; however, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of opportunity details provided in this listing.
